Raat Gayi Baat Gayi Movie Review , Raat Gayi Baat Gayi Preview
Raat Gayi Baat Gayi is the film about three couples and a keen observation on the modern day marriage.Raat Gayi Baat Gayi is a Romantic Comedy Bollywood movie .
Comedy seems to be the reigning genre of box office releases in the present year. Adding one more feather to the already brimming bouquet is ‘Raat Gayi, Baat Gayi’. The movie takes a peep into the modern day marriage. The story revolves about 3 couples, their overdose of fun and a short term memory loss. It starts with a party scene, something which is most prevalent in our modern and contemporary life. The protagonist of the story, Rahul wakes up the next morning with a bad hangover and a memory lapse. He is sure that he had met a strikingly gorgeous woman, Sophia, at the party and there was an instant chemistry in between the two. But, after that, there is nothing more that he remembers.
Adding to Rahul’s despair is his wife Mitali, who is in a bad mood that morning (which is a coincidence). Rahul, being guilty at heart, thinks that she might be aware of his little escapade of the previous night. Frustrated about his memory lapse, he tries hard to find out what had happened the night before and whether or not he went too far than his limits. Meanwhile, moving on to the other characters, his friends Saxena and Amit are going through their own marital crises of sorts and finding it hard to strike a balance.
Rahul is driven at his wit’s end and makes up his mind to seek Sophia and learn the happening of the night, to restore his sanity. Though the plot of the story is nothing new or exceptional, it would be interesting to watch a fusion of marital infidelity with particular time-frame amnesia, spiced with a flavor of comedy and humor. Has Rahul really overstepped the line of control? Will he be able to find mental peace again? Will the modern-day couples sort out their differences and strike harmony? To know all this and much more, rush to the theatres on December 11, 2009.
